Video Production Update – Sport, Music and Event Filming

By | 3rd June 2014

Here’s a brief round-up of what we’ve been up to during the last few weeks at Manchester Video Limited.

Sports Filming – Flintoff ‘Caught & Bowled’

Simon Pendrigh looks after most of our corporate video clients. He ensures that their productions run as smoothly as possible. Simon also specialises in Cricket photography. He’s the official photographer at Lancashire County Cricket Club and is a freelance press & sports photographer for the Manchester Evening News.

Over the weekend Simon travelled up to St Annes on Sea to film Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff’s warm up match prior to his return to Lancashire CCC. Simon’s brief was simple ‘get some video of Andrew Flintoff’.

Fortunately for Simon the venerable Mr Flintoff pulled off a brilliant “caught and bowled”. The clip has since been used by several media outlets including the BBC and ESPN.

Event Filming and Streaming – Grace & Faith 2014

Live event filming

In late May we filmed a four day Christian conference in Telford. The event was broadcast on YouTube with DVDs produced immediately after each session for sale at the venue. We covered the event with three HD cameras and an HD vision mixer. Our cameras also provided feeds to the large screens at the front of house to the 2,700+ attendees. We streamed more than twenty four hours of footage live from the event over the four days.

Charlie and Jill LeBlanc played at the start of each session. In this song they were joined by their special guest Jay Cameron.

If you’re looking for multi-camera coverage with the option of live streaming your next UK event then please contact Simon or Gavin on 0800 228 9422 or use the contact form on the right hand side of this page.
