Do you need analogue video converting to Avid DNxHD for a broadcast edit in the UK? Manchester Video digitise most domestic and professional video tapes with upscaling and optional frame rate conversion.
Files can be digitised as .MOV or .MXF and are compatible with professional editing software supporting Avid DNxHD including Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
Professional video tape formats we support include BetacamSP, SX, IMX and Digital Betacam. Umatic Low-band and Hi-band incl. UmaticSP.
Domestic home video tape formats we support are VHS, S-VHS, Betamax, Video 8, Hi8, Digital 8, MiniDV, HDV and Sony MicroMV.
All transfers include timebase correction as standard with signal processing via our Teranex 2D broadcast converter. Frame rate conversion and scaling is available to match the required broadcast standard for your edit.
Output standards include 1080i50, 1080i60, 1080p25, 1080p30, 720p50, 720p60. Apple ProRes 422 (or HQ) is available as an alternative to Avid DHxHD if preferred. H.264 proxy files/viewing copies can also be generated.
During ingest we have full control of the ARC process to either maintain the original aspect ratio, letterbox, pillarbox as required.
